Volunteering - in little bits

We know that many of you want to help out but don't really have the time, or it doesn't fall when and where we need you. So we're working on putting together some "mini" volunteer projects. Our first one is about ready to be distributed.
We have bags of clean but used toys that need a little re-furbishing. Each bag has from 10-15 toys in it. Most of them need squeakers replaced and we have the squeakers in the bag, too. Some need other repair. Nothing fancy, I promise. So if you'd like to take a bag home and do some sewing for the dogs, we'll have the bags at the kennel this weekend and at the house during the week. Pick up a bag for the pups and help us recycle our toys.
We are also about to start on our event "season" and we need some hand work done. If you have a couple hours to donate and can come to the kennel this weekend, we can put you to work packing up dog cookies, folding brochures, stamping postcards and fun stuff like that. Come on by. You always say you're going to. Now's the time! We're working on making it fit YOUR time frame.
